The Morrisburg area has celebrated its 150th birthday in 2010 (it was formally incorporated as Morrisburg Village in 1860).

 

To celebrate this event we brought back the old “Old Home Week” Festival that was very successful from the late sixties through to the early eighties. This festival ran from Friday, July 23rd to Monday, August 2nd.

 

We had about seventy events lined up, starting with the Dueling Pianos, Antiquefest, Park Street Market, Yuk Yuks Comedy and more on the first weekend and ending with Tubie Weekend including the Tubie Parade, Tubie Dance (with Ambush this year), a Duke Ellington Band / Forties Dance and a Birthday Celebration Fireworks Display. We are recommending that you attend the Summer Entertainment Program on Saturday afternoons in the Cruickshank Amphitheatre during the summer. Admission is FREE and the music is great!
